Convert a batch, or make a photo small enough for an online form.

JPG, PNG and WebP still images · 20 files per batch · 20 MB each · 100 MB total · up to 24 megapixels. HEIC, GIF, SVG and animations are not supported.

Choose your output

A size target may lower quality, down to 20%. Resizing only happens if you allow it or choose a maximum side. We never enlarge an image. KB and MB use 1,000 and 1,000,000 bytes.

Processed on your device: no image uploads. Originals stay untouched. Exported copies are re-encoded; original camera/location metadata is not deliberately copied. Colours may change slightly. Previews are scaled down—open a full-size result to inspect detail. JPG fills transparency; PNG and WebP preserve it.

Processed privately in your browser — your entries are not uploaded.

Good to know

How this tool works

Choose up to 20 still JPG, PNG or WebP images, pick an output format, then convert. Optional file-size targets try lower quality and, only with your permission, smaller dimensions. Review the previews and exact sizes before downloading individual images or a ZIP. Images are processed one at a time on your device.

Frequently asked questions

What is Image Converter & Compressor useful for?

Batch-convert JPG, PNG and WebP, or aim for a smaller file size. Inspect the full-size result rather than relying only on the preview, particularly around fine edges and text.

Is my information stored?

This tool works in your browser. The information you enter is not sent to us or saved in an account by this tool.

Will it always reach my target size?

No. If the chosen format and dimensions cannot meet the target, the result is clearly marked. Allow smaller dimensions or try JPG or WebP. PNG does not have a lossy quality slider.

Will transparent areas stay transparent?

PNG and WebP preserve transparency. JPG fills those areas with your chosen background colour. HEIC and animated images are not supported.

Why can the new image be larger?

Changing format does not guarantee a smaller file. PNG photos in particular may be larger. Compare the actual sizes and open the full-size result before saving.
